The Hooghly Zilla Parishad has magnificently developed an Amusement Park at Bagdanga, affectionately known as New Digha. This park enjoys an ideal location alongside Delhi Road (formerly N.H.-2) and lies a mere 4 kilometres from Chandannagore Railway Station on the Howrah-Bandel Main Railway line.

A substantial investment of Rs.1 crore has been dedicated to the development of this park, offering a multitude of amusement facilities for all ages. Children's Park boasts beautiful Rock Gardens, a riot of Colored Fountains, Herbal & Floral Gardens, and the joy of boating on the adjacent lake. The Disney land section is a whimsical wonderland, featuring a Toy Train, appearances of Micky-Mouse, an array of Merry-go-rounds, the thrilling Jumping Medok, the enchanting Wonder House, the daring Columbus, and much more.

Spanning over a vast expanse of more than 100 bighas of land, this park is adorned with an internal audio system, resplendent flower gardens, and mesmerizing colourful lights and fountains that truly come alive during the evening hours. The complex also boasts a Picnic-Garden and charming Cottages, adding to the allure of the place. For visitors' convenience, there are canteens, fresh drinking water facilities, and well-maintained toilets within the complex. The Picnic Spot rental is Rs.25/- for each group, accommodating a maximum of 25 persons, while the Cottage Rent stands at Rs.125/-. Efforts are underway to introduce a Rope-Way facility and an Artificial Sea to elevate the park's charm, living up to its name as the New Digha Amusement Park.

The park has already welcomed countless visitors, with an average daily attendance of no less than one thousand, even on weekdays.
