How to get Rohtang Pass Permit Online ?

For travellers who are desired to visit Rohtang for Tourism purpose, generally, a question comes to mind how to get Rohtang Pass Permit Online? Tourism Development Council Manali (H.P.) is issued with such a permit. This type of permit is issued daily and can be applied in advance to plan your journey to visit Manali and Rohtang. This type of permit is issued for a Vehicle once a day. The permit issues are duly verified by the authority at various checkpoints on the way to Rohtang and beyond Rohtang. The failure or illegal practice may attract legal action against the wrongdoers. The permit issued are quota based and are issued on a first come first serve basis.
Travellers may apply online for a permit in the web application by filling out a form. After making the successful payment of fees the user is redirected to the print permit screen and can take a printout of the permit issued.

Rohtang Pass Permit :
Various taxes/fees to be paid while visiting Rohtang Pass
Permit Fee (Applicable for those visiting Rohtang Pass for tourism purposes) :-
(i) Petrol Vehicles = 800
(ii) Diesel Vehicles = 400
• The permits can be obtained online in two time frames:
(i) 10:00 hrs (200 Diesel and 400 Petrol)
(ii) 16:00 hrs (200 Diesel and 400 Petrol)
• In a week (Tuesday to Monday) only 3 permits can be obtained for each vehicle.
Permits can only be applied for next 6 days from the current date.
Printout is compulsory for all permissions.
• Vehicles having wrong information on permit as compared to valid proofs will not be allowed to cross the barrier.
Congestion Charges:-
This is applicable for all vehicles crossing Gulaba Bridge. This tax is paid on daily basis and is valid for one day only (To & Fro).
Beyond Rohtang Pass :
Various taxes / fees to be paid while visiting Places Beyond Rohtang Pass Congestion Charges:-
This is applicable for all vehicles crossing Gulaba Bridge. This tax is paid on daily basis and is valid for one day only (To & Fro).
Congestion Fees can only be paid for next 1 days from the current date.
Printout is compulsory for all permissions.
• Vehicles having wrong information on CONGESTION FEES SLIP as compared to valid proofs will not be allowed to cross the barrier.
• In a week (Tuesday to Monday) only 2 permits can be obtained for each vehicle.

Manali Entry (Green Tax) :
Various taxes / fees to be paid while visiting Manali
Composite environmental fund (GREEN TAX):-
This is applicable for all vehicles entering Manali. This tax is paid for every vehicle that is not registered in the State of Himachal Pradesh. The permit is valid for seven days.
Permits can only be applied for next 9 days from the current date.
Printout is compulsory for all permissions.
Vehicles having wrong information on Green Tax Slip as compared to valid proofs will not be allowed to cross the barrier.
